Autumn 2024 Dojo Letter

Dear All,

As we head toward 2025, I wanted to put a few things out:

11 Nov Veterans Day Practice. On next Monday, the 11th, we will have a special Veterans Day practice from 7:30-8:30 AM. Breakfast will follow at Amphora Diner for anyone who can join us. This practice will be in honor of David Perez, an Iraq war veteran and friend of the dojo we lost some time ago. There is the battle over there and then there is the battle after. The practice is for David and others we lost. If anyone has a remembrance they want to give for a veteran, please come to share and remember.

13-15 Dec New York Aikikai Christmas Seminar. I will be going to NYA for the Christmas seminar with Christian and anyone who can make it. I will be there on Friday the 13th and staying with Christian in sleeping bags on the dojo mat Friday and Saturday night, returning on Sunday. Please contact me if you would like to attend and preregister on the NYA website.
Dojo meeting. I would like to have a dojo meeting to talk about where we are as a dojo, upcoming events, and other dojo matters. Date will be forthcoming.
